Orinda Woods

Orindawoods is a Planned Unit Development in north Orinda. The community covers an area of 188 acres of which more than half has been left natural, planted as walkway and roadside parkways or developed as small neighborhood greenbelts.

The homes consist of clusters of townhomes, neighborhoods of patio (garden) homes, and a section of estate homes, which are larger homes with good-sized lots (one-half acres and larger). The patio homes have small yards which are maintained by the individual homeowners and the cluster townhomes feature patios and decks with all landscaping maintained by the Homeowners Association.

The development has a professional management team, contracted landscaping service, a full-time tennis pro and tennis club manager. Social events are frequently planned around the swim/tennis complex. The pool is not suitable for competitive swimming and is used by the homeowners for recreational swimming.
