Well besides the great schools and small town community feel… we love its close proximity to San Francisco. So grab your coat and the family and enjoy some seasonal activities to get you in the holiday spirit.
2013 Union Square Tree Lighting – Macy’s 24th Annual – Takes place November 29, 6:00 pm. You can also do some ice skating and shop the sales while you’re there. And don’t miss the SF SPCA Holiday Windows at Macy’s. The unveiling for that is November 22, at 5pm. Last year 286 cats and dogs found new homes during the Annual Holiday Window displays. So if you are in the market for a new furry friend, this might be just the ticket for you and for them. If you can’t make it in person, each window has streaming video that you can view here [https://sfspca.org/holiday] to watch the animals.
Ghiradelli Square’s Annual Tree Lighting – There is live entertainment for the family and they are lighting up the tree Friday November 29, 5:30 pm.
