Wagner Ranch Neighborhood

Many of the homes in the Wagner Ranch neighborhood were built in the 1920’s and 1930’s and were either original summer cottages (such as El Toyonal Hill and Lake Cascade areas) or grand estates (Oak Arbor, Haciendas and Camino Sobrante areas) built to escape the endless cold days of San Francisco summers. El Toyonal Hill is also home to the beloved Park Pool Swim Club which has one of the largest pools and most scenic picnic areas in Orinda. In addition, residents of this neighborhood also enjoy the Wagner Ranch Nature Area. The Wagner Ranch Nature Area encompasses 18 acres of meadow, forest, ponds and streams. This nature area appeals to the entire community with its music and art, cooking demonstrations, living history skits and educational activities for the kids. Set in a spectacular rural surrounding with excellent learning and sports facilities, the Wagner Ranch neighborhood is committed to maintaining an exceptional learning environment.
